TruCorp, a ground-breaking organisation headquartered in Waringstown, County Armagh, who are doing incredibly innovative work to help save lives have shown they are just as forward thinking when it comes to what they offer their people.
In short, that’s one of the best cultures of any business we have ever seen!
We have the unequivocal evidence to know that TruCorp is a company that cares about its people as our insights come directly from the employees working there! In fact, our process revealed that TruCorp employees have an ***INCREDIBLE 21.35 TIMES*** as many positive as negative days at work!!
When TruCorp started the Vibrant Workplace Accelerator they defined a project purpose statement:
“Our goal, with your input and collaboration, is to build a positive environment where everyone feels valued, empowered, and understands how their efforts and attitude contribute to TruCorp’s success.”
TruCorp managed to INCREASE their employee retention intentions during the accelerator by 11.11% with now 92.59% of their workforce intending to remain with the company beyond 3-years!

So, what’s life like at TruCorp? Well, who better to tell us than their Operations Director who led the Vibrant Workplace project internally to deliver such outstanding results: David Hutton!!
- Tell us about your company, what does TruCorp do and where are you located?
“TruCorp specializes in designing, developing, and manufacturing high-quality medical simulation training products. Our products help medical professionals develop and maintain the critical skills needed to save lives. We are in Waringstown, County Armagh.“
- What types of jobs do you offer?
“We currently have six departments – Sales, Marketing, R&D, Production, Operations and Finance.”
- Why does culture and employee experience matter to you?
“Personally, I’ve worked in places where employee experience was a low priority, and no matter how passionate or motivated you are, working in an environment where employees aren’t valued or are seen as easily replaceable will affect your ability to perform at a high level, eventually. From the moment I joined TruCorp, it was clear this wasn’t that kind of company.”
- Why did you choose to take part in the Vibrant Workplace Accelerator?
“We wanted an independent, objective assessment of our company culture to identify areas were we could improve and build on any positives identified. While we believed our culture was strong, it can be difficult to gauge internally. The Vibrant Workplace Accelerator provided a valuable opportunity to reliably evaluate and monitor the workplace environment at TruCorp.”
- Now that you’ve completed it, do you think it was worthwhile? What did you get from the experience?
“Yes, I believe it was definitely worthwhile. We saw high levels of engagement from the team, and the discussions in the Mooqi meetings about life at TruCorp gave everyone a chance to contribute to shaping the kind of work environment they want to be a part of.”
- Our benchmarks are high, what do you think TruCorp does well that enabled you to achieve them?
“We try to create a space where everyone feels empowered to speak up and be heard. While not every suggestion is implemented, people know their input—whether about product improvements, processes, communication, or other concerns—is taken seriously. Additionally, we keep everyone informed about broader company news, not just KPIs specific to their departments. This openness helps drive engagement.”
- What does it mean to you to be a Verified Vibrant Workplace?
“Being a good workplace isn’t something that’s done for employees; it’s something they help to create. It’s fantastic to have the collective efforts of our entire team recognized with the Verified Vibrant Workplace status.”
- What do you think this should tell jobseekers?
“I think this is a useful indicator that can help jobseekers decide where they want to invest 2,000+ hours of their lives each year.”
